Kingy Guides data handling

The tools receive the search query, optional game filter, requested public guide URL, spoiler preference and text pagination options. Searches are forwarded to kingy.wiki to retrieve published results. Guide requests retrieve public pages. No conversation history, player account, password, saved game, payment information or precise location is requested.

Processing and recipients

The service runs on Vercel. Vercel processes network and request metadata such as IP address, request path, time, status and runtime diagnostics to host and protect the service. kingy.wiki receives forwarded search queries and page requests. ChatGPT or Codex receives the returned public guide text and links; its own data policies govern the conversation.

Retention

The guide tools have no database and do not write user queries, guide requests or response bodies to application logs. Request values exist in memory while each operation runs. A public release catalog is cached in process memory for at most 30 seconds; it contains published metadata, not user queries. Guide bodies are fetched for each request and are not retained as a content archive.

Vercel's standard Pro runtime-log retention is one day, according to its runtime-log documentation. Hosting security, billing and account records may have separate retention under Vercel's privacy policy. The application does not configure log drains, analytics or tracking cookies. The wiki's infrastructure also processes its ordinary incoming requests.

Discord and Twitch

Kingy answers only from published kingy.wiki pages. It does not read your messages, server or member list; it sees only the command you send it. Replies are visible only to you unless you press Share. To improve answers, we keep the words you searched, the game and the hour for 30 days, without your Discord name, ID, server or channel. Twitch !kingy requests are not logged beyond that. When you press Open guide, the link passes through Kingy, which counts the click by page and hour for 30 days, with nothing about you, then sends you to the kingy.wiki page.

Discord includes your user ID and the server or channel ID with each command. Kingy holds your user ID in memory for at most one minute to limit repeated commands and never stores it. Twitch chat bots may send your channel and viewer name in request headers; Kingy does not read or keep them. Searches go to kingy.wiki as described above.

Your controls

Use only game questions and public guide URLs; do not include personal information or credentials. You may stop using or disconnect the service at any time. Solutions and reveal sections are withheld from default tool outputs. Hint requests return only an authored requested tier. Unclassified full text is withheld unless spoilers are explicitly requested. Classification reflects published editorial labels and does not certify that every source excerpt is spoiler-free.
